Dr. Charmaine Scott DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, is a dedicated and highly experienced dual Board-Certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of expertise in inpatient and outpatient healthcare settings. She developed a deep passion for mental health while working with diverse populations and witnessing the challenges faced by individuals with mental illnesses.  

 

Her belief is rooted in the understanding that mental illness does not define an individual. She firmly believes that clients can effectively function within their homes and communities with proper medication management and therapeutic interventions. She provides comprehensive care for clients aged 18 years and older.  

 

Her favorite quote is “My client is the most integral part of my team”. Each care plan is thoughtfully tailored to the individual's unique needs and circumstances. Dr. Scott specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorders, bipolar disorders, dual diagnoses, and psychotic disorders.

Her office is designed with accessibility in mind, featuring spacious parking and a handicapped-accessible environment. She offers flexible scheduling options to accommodate her client's needs, with appointments available from Thursday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Additionally, Dr. Scott provides the convenience of special appointments for weekends, early mornings, and late evenings, both in-person and virtually.
